Dad got his sign put up at the driveway. Looks great.

Bathroom update in Guatemala

Our group also updated the bathroom wall for the Guatemalan children. Beth drew the outline of Flounder, Brooke painted him and Diane painted the bubbles.
Great Job Everyone..
Before the mural was even complete, this boy wanted his picture taken infront of it. When he saw the picture of himself on the camera he said it looked like he was really at the ocean. He's never seen it but could imagine being there.

Guatemala Pics

Mural we painted on exterior wall in playground area at the childrens home in Guatemala. The kids loved it.

Covered Bridge - After the Storm.

This is a sign I painted on a large saw blade. I used acrylic paints with a thick clear top coat to keep it protected.

Upcoming Mission to Guatemala

I am very excited that I will be going on my first mission trip to Guatemala with my sister and her church. We will be staying at the orphanage there and helping with whatever needs done. I feel very blessed when I learned last week that it has been requested that my sister and I go into the city and paint a mural at the orphanage for special needs children. I know the people I will meet will leave a great impression on me. I just hope that God will work through me to leave a great impression on someone there. Keep a look out for pictures of the mural we will do this June.

Photos

Please forgive me for poor photo quality of some of my work. I am still learning how to photograph artwork and think I may need to start with a new camera. I hope to start having a lot of my art work scanned in the future like the drawing I did of my children.

Hunterman's Dream

This is the first painting I did in 2002. My husband would love to see a buck like this sitting in the woods. I painted this for him as a Christmas present. Acrylic 16X20.

Tranquility

This is a drawing I did for a client Christmas of 2008. She gave it as a present to her good friend who loves hot air balloons. It took longer than expected but turned out great and she was very pleased.

Braden's Smile

This is a drawing I did of my youngest son just because i love that smile. This picture really shows his personality.

My Miracles from God

This is a drawing I did of my children. I created this with pencil in August 2008, it is 18X24 . It turned out to be a great anniversary present for their grandparents.
